luminum is the primary metal used throughout R2-D3, with the exception of the feet. These babies are steel and made to take quite a pounding without fear of denting. That doesn't mean they won't be denting walls, furniture and human feet.

The outer feet will be equipped with the NPC 2212 robot motors. These in conjunction with a custom-built drive system will make R2-D3 an exceptional mobile droid.
